I broke a hammer spring on my Perazzi MX 2000 RS for the first time this weekend and need to purchase a replacement. Should I buy a factory replacement or a set of the new interchangeable springs?

I would appreciate responses based on experience.

    Thanks,

    Doc

I get all of my springs and firing pins from Jim (J&P Custom), and couldn't be happier. The link above is to the Perazzi parts...these parts are factory Perazzi.

Garret that is good to know. Whiz White (S-W Supply) has real Perazzi springs too.

It is not rocket science. Either will work fine I guess. Try them both and form your own opinion.

The thing is any of them may break on the first shot or go a hundred thousand. Jeff

Thanks Harv; I finally have an answer. Is there a U.S. vendor or do I purchase straight from Marcello?

Doc, Whiz White at S&W Supply has the new spring system and well do the install for you. Give him a call, has never lead me wrong, and may have something else that may work for you. I have the new system in my Precision Trigger, by Jim Coons and works great. Jim may even do yours for you.

    jamie65,

Sorry for the delayed response but I have been at the Alabama State shoot since Thursday morning. I appreciate your help; I looked at Stu's web site but did not find the Perazzi springs. I will call him tomorrow.

    Thanks,

    Doc
