Anyone know the real story behind this combination?

I heard Kreghoff sued Alum over the modifications he was making to the barrel.

Not sure how accurate my information is on the story.

    Thanks

Hey, it's just like how the Reese Cup was invented...

Two West Virginians were approaching the same blind corner from opposite directions. One with K-gun and one with a P-gun...

John Allem made a few Perazzi barrels with the krieghoff style of hanger to adjust the POI like the K80. He still shoots one I believe. I was told he made less than 50 of them.

George at Trapdude had or maybe still has an MX-3 Special with a K-80 un-single barrel adapted to it. Quite a conversation piece at the time but don't remember who did the work. John

    Hey Skip

It's been close to 24 hours and no answer. Is this because you know your story is nothing but a lot of bull?

I know it is and I speak factually.

Vern, two friends of mine had what they were told were Kreighoff barrels and ribs installed in a Perazzi mono-bloc. They were built by Allem. If you want their names PM me. Jim

Actually, the Kolar gun is the combination of both, and they have infused their coil spring trigger system and have a good product. incinerate em!

I saw a Krieghoff K-80 unsingle barrel mated with a Perazzi mono-bloc and frame on display at Allem's Vandalia store, for a couple of years maybe in the mid-1990's. (I know it was a Krieghoff K-80 unsingle barrel and a Perazzi frame; I'm assuming the mono-bloc was Perazzi.) I had just bought my first K-80 combo, and anything Krieghoff really caught my eye.

Yes...there were 50 barrels made. They were Perazzi monoblocs, 34" Krieghoff bbls, and the adjustable hanger like those on the K80. The ribs were custom. The bbls. were .735 bore with .036 choke. They were made to fit the MX 8 style square block receiver.

What upsets me is the way the question was asked. It cast a dispersion on either a person or a company. I would have had "NO" qualms if the innuendo of
"law suits" had not been injected into the question. A simple question of --
What is the story behind the barrels?" would have sufficed. There was never any law suits or threat of any.

I would personally like to get my hands on one and look it over, I think my son would like to have one.

A better picture would be nice too.
