I think #10 is an extra full and a #4 is mod or light mod.

I used a #8 full when I bought mine until I patterned it; made nice smoke. I switched to #6 (improved mod) at Harlan Campbell's suggestion. The #8 produced a pattern the size of a basketball; Campbell said it was too small and had me change it on the spot. I still get nice smoke when I do it right.

Point is, you have to pattern a choke to see what it's really doing. Some shooters love an extra tight choke; fine by me. Campbell's comment was that every time I chip a bird with an improved mod choke, it's a bird I would have missed with the original full choke. I concluded he was right and have stuck with it.

I recently purhased a TMX. It came with 2,4, and 7. I would like a #8 or #9. Any body have one they would like to sell? Thanks, Steve
