Does anyone know what the numbers on the perazzi choke tubes mean? Is it the lower number like a 4 tighter or looser than an 8? Thanks

    I believe the number represents an increment of .004 over bore starting with 1 i.e. 1 = .004 constriction, 2 = .008 constriction, etc.

At least it was that way with some older Perazzi that I owned.

Multiply the number on the tube by .004 to get the points of constriction. Thus a #4 is .016 constriction. The lowest # I have is 0 & the highest is 11 for .044 constriction. They make from 0 thru 11. Tom
