What would be considered the ideal barrel weight for a perazzi mx8 for shooting olympic trap.I am using a 30.75" barrel with a 1600 barrel weight and am finding it a bit sluggish for trench.I am considering getting a 29.5" set of barrels with a 1560 barrel weight but not sure how this will effect the balance, any ideas???

Most common factory Olympic Trap guns are around 1.55 kg. in 29.5". That happen to be the best weight for me too.

liam, the weight stamped on the barrel does not indicate finished barrel weight. You have to mount and swing the barrel to be sure.
