    cam70 = 2 3/4" chamber

    Kg 1.420 = 3.13 lbs. Weight of barrels

    18.4 = .725 bore

    There might be two letters inside a box....that would be yr of mfg (proof) for the barrels.

    With that serial number it is a Type IV and proofed around 1988 with an "AT" in a square.

    18.4 mm

    Like the rest of the world, everything is in 10 increments. like our fingers. MM, CM, M, KM. is much easier to calculate.

    I feel pain for our kids have to learn the silly out of date English system.

    It gets me when I try to pic small wrenches in the size of inches.

    But thank God, our money is not 16 to a Pound.

    18.4 is bore diameter expressed in metric system. 18.4/25.4= 0.724 inches.

    The difference would not be measurable with your handy tape or even dial gauge for that matter. And less than meaningful.

    Always more fun to make simple things complicated, innit?
