Help! A friend of mine needs a set of type three barrels. The old Ithica or winchester MX8 style O/U trap barrels 29 1/2 to 32" His set were damaged beyond repair in transit and he didn't have insurance. He doesn't want to spend several mortgage payments on a new set along with the cost of moving the forend lug. If any one out there has a set and would accept a reasonable offer please call me @ 609 231-6187 Joe Goldberg

Giacomo can fit a Type 4 barrel to his type 3 gun. Has the same problem on a late series SC1 2 years ago. Some idiot had sent the barrels to Briley for Screw ups. Bought a brand new barrel for $2500. Giacomo fitted it for $300 and sold the old POC for $1400.

TB I think your missing the point $2700 for barrels would be excessive for a gun thats worth $2500-3500 complete I need one of those Old sets for $1000-1500
with or with out screw chokes I don't care. Joe

If the mono-block is good you could have any length of barrels, any rib, etc. for about $1,000 from Simmons. Ron

Really? Do you have a current price from them I would have thought the cost would have been about twice that for an O/U joe

I paid well under $1,000 a little over a year ago. I supplied the barrels and I think the Simmons bill was around $750 if memory serves. You need to talk to Paul Salchow at Simmons. He is great to work with. Ron

P.S. I bought a set of pump gun barrels that already had chokes for $109 each.
