did you know you can buy a barrel and action in white with side plates with drop out trigger for $1995.00. the gun is built by Sabbittini in italy. i understand it is the same as keman shotguns. both are exact copies of perazzi. most parts are interchangeable. saw one today and we switched parts with a perazzi.

perazzi barrel and trigger group. a little adjustment needed but very close. Reno Gamba is also a perazzi copy. I didn't know this, but anyone can copy a perazzi shotgun. many parts interchangable at 1/3 cost.

ed, if you buy a sabittini, Gamba or Keman at 1/2 the price and parts are interchangle with a perazzi what else are you getting more by shooting a perazzi other than the name. i was suprised that many italian companies make exact copy the perazzi.

Does the "exact copy" use the same quality and hardness steel?

sometimes better. we tested some of the steel used. since i have a lot of time on my hand i am just doing this for something to do. it is no differnt than buying the chrysler sports car. parts can be bought from mercedes and vise versa. but 1/3 the cost at chrysler but built by mercedes.

Would be worth the $ and effort if you didn't have to have a stock and forend made from scratch for the action,,,you'll probably have more into wood than metal when all is said and done.

There was a time when some Spanish Co. made a copy of a Ljutic Mono..Looked just like one and some parts interchanged. Theirs was of low grade steel and parts failed with regularity. Saw one that shot "loose" in one or two seasons.
