We have had a request at our gun club to install Pepsi products in our pop machine. There is a concern raised by some members that Pepsico is ant-gun. Can someone confirm or deny this?

Why don't you ask your local distributor as that is who you are going to be working with.

Corperate headquarters are more then likely anti-gun. My son used to work for them in their Indianapolis plant. CEO was an Indian woman who refused to honor any religious American holidays.

The biggest factor in his reason for quitting them.

There is a web site out there that list the anti company's and rich people who fund anti-gun and anti-America groups

I would say no. Gunowners.org (their list is from the ILA does not have them, and the Pink Pistol list also.

Pepsi doesn't appear on any anti-gun list, so I agree with the others who have said they are not. This rumor circulated some years ago at the time of the Pennsylvania State Shoot and caused quite a buzz on the opening day of the shoot as Pepsi had all the vending machines at Elysburg. PSSA management looked into the matter and announced later that day that they were able to determine that the rumor was false.

Pepsi's Project Refresh has a grant to HSUS as one of the two finalists for $250,000 as indicated by their web site above.

They also gave $25,000 to provide cooling vests to working military dogs in Iraq during the last phase of this project. They are also considering a $25,000 grant to teach HipHop to inner city kids in Cincinnatti, $50,000 to ProgressOhio, an start up Progressive group that wants to ban giving antibiotics to animals.... A lot of interesting finalists... mostly advocacy groups for some _cause_.

HSUS is a very anti-hunting group.

What some people don't know is Pepsi gave ALOT of money to the OBAMA relection. How do you think he got away with his logo that is so close to Pepsi's logo. Pepsi is in favor of Obama and I would have to say that they are anit-gun because of that.

We at our club do not buy or sell Pepsi probucts AT ALL. Nor do we buy them outside the club either.

I has been my understanding, for at least a couple of decades, that HSUS is very anti hunting and, therefore, assumed to be anti gun. Pepsico's support of it would indicate they are supportive of the charity's objectives.

I can't confirm this right now, but I seem to recall that the Exec Dir or Pres of HSUS is on the BOD of some anti-gun group. I may be VERY wrong on this and apologies if I am, but it lurks in the back of my mind.

Why have Pepsi products anyway? Coke is a superior tasting product over that sugary product. At least that's what most of us Georgians believe.

I too could not find Pepsi on the NRA list, however, Coke stepped up and sponsored the Olympic Shooting team several years ago, when the anti-gun craze was raging. No one else seemed interested then. Since then, there has always been Coke in my house, but we drink Pepsi too.
