I'm selling some old trucks off the place. International trucks, Studebakers and Ford trucks. I just got and email for one of them and it read "IS IT INSPECTED"? Here are the pic's that they saw on the add. I have had some strange emails from people. This is on Craigslist. I don't think I will do this again.

That Studebaker pickup in the back of the picture should bring some $$, wouldn't you think?

Has it been repainted? How much tread is left on the tires?

I've sold some auto parts on Craigslist and always get some of the stupidest questions anybody could imagine. Mostly from young people. It's obvious to me that most can't distinguish a spark plug from a carb.
By the way, do any of those trucks have a hemi? :)

    Will not burn oil.

Warranty is 30 seconds or the end of the driveway. Which ever comes first.

Keeping the wood for fence and gate posts.

I have a 1959 and a 1960 Studebaker for sale. Some interest but most from scrapers.

    No Hemi

The two Internationals that I have are a KB-5 and a KB-8 The KB-5 has been sold. I had a guy who dragged his feet nad missed out on it. He later emailed me a very childish email. He then within an hour started to delete or flag my adds. I wrote back and put some facts out to him and also added that he shouldn't use his name on emails. He stopped.

I remember those trucks and none of them rode well. I remember driving them to pick up rocks(I drove, others threw the rocks in the back) and I had to switch positions on the seat to let the clutch out and move back to see out of the windshield. Of course, I could only see just over the dash and between the steering wheel. I knew better than to stall it. I had a throttle to pull out and push in because I couldn't work the gas and the clutch together. Those were the days of hard work and close family ties.

Yes it does. In winter with a down hill run with all windows open.

Hey Stl Flyn, take it easy. Your sounding like a craigslist shopper. Chill.

Auctioneer---What are trucks worth in those years and condition? I mean are they highly valued by collectors? Reason i'm asking this is, you may want to see if there are some kind of forums where you might get better responses. Those collector sites have more resources and the right person may jump on it. Just a thought...........

I'm not suggesting you posted it on the wrong site or section. Just trying to offer other suggestions.

I assume these vehicles carry a standard auctioneer's warranty. That is, if someone buys a vehicle and it breaks into two pieces, the buyer owns both pieces. LOL.

Flyn, I think you and shelly are brothers hatched from the same egg the way you both fly around threads and hurl insults at posters. You're obviously too young to know this stuff was done so, instead, you sling your derogatory crap. Grow up.
