If you have less pellet count would you normally go to a tighter choke?

I've got a few flats of 1 oz 71/2. Want to start shooting theme for the second shot of doubles. Normally I use an IM choke, just wondering if I would or should go to a LF or F

For me it would depend on the quality of the IM choke and how it breaks the targets at your distance to the targets with that load. Only way for you to know that first hand is try it yourself, not by asking for opinions. I've seen some modified and IM chokes destroy targets beyond the 27 yard line but I certainly wouldn't say every modified choke will do that same thing either!

Phil, only way to know for sure is for you to test them and pattern them yourself on the board at the distance you are trying to break those targets with your gun and your chokes. Good Luck and BReake-m all. JEff
