Just had 5 bags of these wads dropped at my door. Any one have a good load for these AA hull 700x or 800x. Thanks, Tim

Tim, there's no data that I could find on 700X or 800X, but there IS some nice data (see above link) published for Alliant Red Dot. You've got enough wads there to warrant picking up an 8 lb. keg of Red Dot which will load around 3000+ shells. Red Dot is also more economical than 700X. 800X is going to be a bit too slow and dirty for 1-ounce loads. .....Rick

TIMBOB44: Sorry for the above goof. It's raining and cold here in L.A.
I use 16.5 grains of 700X in a AA hull w/federal primer. PC Purple wad works as well as any other wad. I've even used it in Papers w/Red Dot. I believe the 700X load cracks off about 1170 fps. Try it, I think you will like it.

800X is recommneded for 1 1/8+oz. load of shot. It works even better in 1 1/4 oz. loads. Fred

17 gr 700X in a Rem hull with a chedite primer = comfortable to shoot. I even load this in Winchester universal/super-target etc one time and toss.....merlyn..great for the first shot of doubles........
