Now owned by anti-gun eBay, PayPal anti-gun policies long predate the buyout.

I did see something from http://www.auctionarms.com/ called gunpal I am not sure what the details are but I am thinking its paypal for us. I personally have used paypal for recieveing payment and payment of gun related items I just list them as goods or services they dont need details as far as I am concerned, I AM POSITIVE, someone some where is useing paypal for drugs or pay for some other illegal goods or service. So I guess next step which would either be good or bad for Paypal would be for NRA to step in and use the legal forces that they have for a descrimination suite. Becaues the guy at work is black or "NOT WHITE" he gets away with lots. Because we are Firearm enthusiast we are decriminated against. Well there must be some Attorney within our group willing to make a name for themself.

If you do use PP and when they asked you what the payment is for say anything but a gun. Service, parts, books or machine. Anything but a gun. If they do catch you buying a gun through PP they will kick you off PP.

Why would any of you use PayPal???? It's like contributing to gun control!

They say they have policies, well we have policies too.

1st policy: Don't use the bedwetters @ PayPal

    Nuff' said.

DO NOT buy GM (Government Motors) under any circumstances because they are more ANTI GUN than any and all other anti organizations ... Obama bailed them because they are ANTI GUN and contributed big time to his running for President ... If people are going to call them out, call out all of them not just a choice few ... I won't even let my friends who drive a GM park in my driveway because they are supporting the most ANTI GUN organization in the free world ... Those who work for or ever worked for GM are even worst because they are hypocrites and denounce others but exclude their employers or former employers ... All or nothing at all ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

    Yes, PayPal is anti-gun.
Gubment Motors too? News to me. I prefer Ford anyway, due to having the good sense to pass on the bail-out money and maintaining control of their own corporate destiny.

I would have to encourage you to not use PayPal for any type of firearm related purchase or sale -- if anything goes wrong with the purchase/sale, they will disown you and you may be left out in the cold holding the bag for a big $$$ loss. We need to get together somehow and get this anti-gun policy changed - any ideas? the beav

Many of my customers use PayPal. It is expensive for me at 4%, but I have NEVER, EVER been stiffed by PayPal.

Quite the contrary, in fact, PayPal has even reimbursed me a couple of time that they could not nail the scammer. I normally use their website, but I do have a personal phone number that I have used on a couple of occasions.

It is unfortunate that they are not gun friendly, nor is their cohort, eBay. However, I have bought and sold on eBay nearly 2,000 times and have never been stiffed that was not resolved.

The worst folks I've had to deal with is VISA.

Had a customer buy a new reloader, then proceeded to destroy it; made alterations with no clue as to what he was doing. Instead of sending back to me for warranty, he shipped to factory and demanded a full refund. I lost 20%, and although VISA initially sided with me, they ultimately told me I had to pay $502 to continue to dispute the charges. I'd already lost $225, and the dork even kept some of my parts I gave him for buying the reloader. I didn't want to invest over $700 in a possible worse loss.

Consequently, I quit accepting credit cards from that issuing bank.

Thanks, Paul M, you are a jewel, well "unique."

If you try to file a claim for a firearm with PayPal, they will deny it because you committed fraud by violating their terms of service. It's just that simple.

Brian: I am damn careful of wordage when dealing with them.

I know their stance. I used to sell once-fired AA's all the time of eBay, and I bought my AR Upper there, but that was long before the female in charge got "religion."

Whiz, the "female in charge" is Meg Whitman. She is currently spending a small part of her billions on a run to be governor of California. Ms. Whitman is registered as a republican.

She is "against abortion" but supports the right of a woman to choose. She supports late term abortion. She supports government funding for abortion.

She "supports the second amendment" but also feels that "assault weapon bans" are "good for California" She also thinks that the handgun ban in San Francisco is a good idea.

She is "against illegal immigration" but supports full rights for those in the country illegally including welfare and health care.

She is for agricultural water rights and would "turn on the water" for farmers who are currently denied water under California law. This would turn back on irrigation for thousands of California farmers. Of course she does not state where the water will come from... and who would no longer get water.

She is "against gay marriage" but supports those gays who are married. She supports "civil unions" The gay lobby in California is opposed to her and is already raising funds to run ads in opposition to her.

The race in California should be interesting.
