    Craig.... If its paper your looking for you can get paper end rolls at a local newspaper fairly cheap. Menards, Home Depot and the like have large paper rolls for laying on the floor of construction jobs.

    I've seen large targets like your talking about in Sportsman Wharehouse but their expensive.

    bob levine ... You have the right idea but even cheaper is, along with your plate is a dollar or less paint brush and a quart of white latex. Thin a 1/8 cup of the paint to that of thick white wash and use this to cover the black lead marks on the plate after each shot. This goes a long way. If the weather is cool you can even dip the brush in water and move the non dried paint around on the plate.
