pat trap doubling

    one of our pat traps throws doubles 2-3 times a round, when set for singles,if any one has a fix for this it would be great, we had this trap for some time and it never did it before. thanks jeff

    Jeff, Check the wheel that switches it from singles to doubles. sometimes it gets a dirt build up under it. use some kind of graphite and clean it out good. Also change the o rings

    Sounds like O rings on the doubles roller, but best to contact Vince. He will get you squared away. Jake

    I would just replace the O rings on the doubles roller and tighten the doubles roller a little. A smart person would get into the trap house with a few tools and call Vince on a cell phone.

    From the instruction manual that came with my club's Pat Trap:

    "Place a few drops of light oil under the top edges of the roller plates."

    I have found that this procedure cures the problem. I use Three-in-one oil.

    A real smart person would call Vince and have him stop by for a tune up...Its dirt cheap...
