#### Passport.. and RFID Tag ???????????????

    If you can shield it with lead foil it will not work. Aluminum might not be dense enough.

    RF does not like metal. That's why your cellphone don't work in pole barns.

    The microwave is a great idea. I was told by a TSA agent the last time I flew that unless I updated my drivers license I would not be able to fly after January 1st 2008. My license is not expired but does not have the bar code on the back. How long until they will want you to have a RFID injected into your hand?

    I know its a dumb question but whats a RFID? And if the RFID is microwaved out will the passport still be any good?

    It takes a minimum of ten layers of aluminum foil (each side) to block an RFID.

    Don't ask me how I know.
