    Passing of Ernest Marlette

Many of us know and are friends with Ernest Marlette of Winston-Salem who is an excellent K80 gunsmith.

Ernest has been struggling with his father's recent health crisis the past few weeks and his father passed this last Monday with the viewing and funeral following this week.

Ernest is very concerned that he has not been available to return phone calls to his customers in the last few weeks and wanted people to know his situation.

He will be working to return calls and reschedule his work shortly, in the mean time, on his behalf I ask for your patience as these kind of situations occur in all of our lives at one point or the other. Your guns are safe and your work will be rescheduled and completed.

    Cheers

I haven't spoke with Ernest in a couple months. All this was news to me. I hate to hear it....

I just shipped Ernest quite a few Perazzi parts, and because of that we have been on the phone for several long conversations.

He sure seems like a guy I could get to know and be around.

Hope he hears from us. Please convey my thoughts to him.

Meet Ernest for the first time at this years Krieghoff Masters in Fort Bragg, he did a wonderfull job smoothing out my triggers on my K80 and has one of my other krieghoffs to service, he is one of the best at working on K80's.

Ernest our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family and the loss of your father.

His Dad was spitting distance of 80. I'm sure the loss still hurts as much as if he were a younger man.
