Those little rubber loops are the worst. I found some rubber grommets at the Lowes store Hardware Bins that worked well. I am looking for a lock assembly.
I made some compartment separators by cutting down some packing foam frm a computer packaging - wrapped with felt works well.

I fear the life is waning on our John Hall cases from the 70s. Mine has survived pretty well but could use many replacements.....breakemall

I ended up adding velcro as a replacement for the rubber loops. I am still looking for the "innards" to store STOS, a Bore Snake, oil, etc.
