I thought I heard the Vegas line was already up - Packers by 2.5 or was it 3.5?

Packers are 2.5 point favorites. Both teams easily covered the 3 point spread in yesterdays games so it's really a pick em situation for the SB.

Not a fan of either but I pick Pittsburgh by 7, Honestly I doubt GB could beat NE or Balt. GB is good just not good enough. Just thoughts from an NFL fan.

If Pittsburgh can play 2 halves of good football, unlike yesterday, they should beat the Packers.

    Muzzleblast / Butch:

Born at Magee Hospital in 1947, grew up in Shady Side / Squirrel Hill area at the top of Negley Hill in the same house until 1972.
Went to grade school in Squirrel Hill and then Shady Side Academy for high school.
Off to college at Cornell and then to the US Army until 1971.
Worked in Pittsburgh from 1971-1972, moved to Cincinnati and then came back from 1976 - 1989. In 1989 we moved to Illinois where we are now.
My Pittsburgh / Western PA roots are deep - back at least 4 generations. Before that, Jersey City, NJ.
Didn't do much trapshooting until I moved out here, although I was a member at Millvale Sportsmen's Club for a while.
Probably more than you wanted to know. <:)

My Steeler story - I WAS AT THE GAME on December 23,1972 and believe I was one of only a few hundred fans left who witnessed the 'immaculate reception', arguably the most exciting finish to ANY NFL game. Most of the fans were filing out, thinking the game was finished, with seconds left and 4th down and 10 yards to go for the Steelers. What a thrill then, and I still get a chill listening to the replay. And yesterday, I believe when Franco Harris was interviewed, he made a subtle reference to it when he said something about playing until the final play is over.

I am a Packer fan, but I like both these teams. They both have great history. This should be a very good game.

As a native Chicagoan, I just can't bring myself to root for the Cheeseheads, on the other hand I think they've got more than the Stillers. GB by 6.

Numerically it's a shoe in for the Steelers. It's all about the Number 7.

    Steelers by 7 pts.

Steelers will win their 7th Super Bowl

    Roth's No. is 7

Team was founded 77 yrs. ago

    etc

    etc

The Pack will be Deep Seven'd

Curt (and I really don't care who and/or what wins or plays)
