I have a P/W 800 plus reloader that sometimes does not completely index when the handle is pulled down causing it to not feed the primer. It does not do it all the time just once in a while. Maybe 3 or 4 times in a hundred shells. My question is do any of the P/W owners out there know what could be causing the problem? Has anyone run into this before? Any help or info would be appreciated. Thanks

The "turntable" that holds the dies has 2 screws opposite each other (u will need an allen key) if these get loose there is failure to index. Tighten them up and your good to go. Look on the side of the turntable to see the hole for the screws.

I have already done as Cynergytrap suggested. I seems like maybe something under the turntable is sticking.

Is your primer feed assembly sticking? When is the last time you cleaned and greased it?

Well, take it loose and have a little look-c underneath.

Does it do this when the machine is completely empty of hulls?

If you remove all the dies, does it still exhibit the same problem?

Check the Die Access plate (black plastic piece), it could be cracked/broken.

There are a myriad things to look at, example:
1. Shell Seating Post is too high
2. Primer Seating Assembly is too high
3. Shot under the turret
4. Loose vertical RH or LH post(s)
5. Index Pad out of adjustment, or loose (I bet it's this)!!
6. Loose Start Gear assembly
7. 3/16x18 BHSC on underside of turret's center shaft may be loose
8. Even something in the Rack Gear area too
9. Hulls that have been shot in ultra tight chambers; permits the hull to drop down in the duie and hangs up as turret advances to Station #2.

Need for definitive description on WHAT seems to be "hanging up."
