1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

George, I used to be a P-38 collector so I can give you more info. than you probably want (e-mail me if you want more info). It appears from the pictures you have that you have a Spreewerke P 38. The pistol should have the letters CYQ to the right of P 38 on the left side of the slide. The numbers 88 were the Waffenamt (inspectors numbers). Spreewerke pistols are the roughest made of the P 38 mfgr's. Walther (code AC) and Mauser (code BYF) made the "best" P 38's. Spreewerke P38's work just fine. The technicians at Spreewerke were willing to sacrifice quality for quantity something Walther and Mauser weren't quite so willing to do. Please e-mail me and I can give you all the info you like. Regards, Randy Price

I need a holster like that. Mine is pretty messed up from previous owners.
