Can you believe it's October already?! It was a cool brisk nite with a light breeze. Great shooting weather. We had a decent crowd, 39 squads. Some of the top shooters tonite were:

    Rich Lewis 98x100

    Chip 97x100

    Fred Smith 97x100

    Carliss Bowers 50x50

    Bob Aldridge 49x50

    Duke 49x50

    Dave Jackson 48x50

    Top prize winners tonite are:

Rich Lewis with 4 and Smitty with 3.

The longbird pot hit $275 tonite and Bea pulled Bob Pierce's ticket. He drew post 3 and using Jim Roland's Silver Seitz he missed!!! This is the same gun he sold to Roland, now I know why.

I would also like to welcome Bob Welch back to Oxford. The last time he shot here was in the early 80's. Bob said he had a great time and I hope he doesn't wait so long for the next visit.

With wind gusts to 52mph I'm glad today is only wednesday. The wind is supposed to lay down for thursday and we should have nice weather.
