I travelled from Kansas City to Minnesota this week for work. I spent Tuesday evening in my hotel room reviewing a Singles and Handicap video to reinforce the lessons from a recent shooting clinic conducted by Leo Harrison III

On Wednesday evening I drove to the Owatonna Gun Club to shoot. I am happy to report that I achieved my first 100 straight targets!

Great bunch of people at the Owatonna Gun club! I addtion to the handshakes and congratulations from many of the shooters, I was given a 100 patch, and awarded a belt buckle (pictured here) with their club logo commemorating the occurrence.

    Thank you to everyone involved!

The Owatonna Gun Club wishes to congradulate Terry again for the milestone he

passed last night. Not sure if they mention it last night but I believe we

also have belt buckles for 100 straight in doubles and handicap. Hope to see

more during the summer and good luck in Missouri.

Congrats sir on the 100, that Owatonna club is a bunch of great people. Betty and I have shot there twice, will be there next year for Cabelas shoot, with some of those "retired" S.W. Ioway Clowns, hopefully. Scott

Terry, sorry I missed your clinic last night - I left early! Won't do that again.

Congrats - you've earned that buckle! Glad to have you do that at the Owatonna Gun Club. We LOVE to give those belt buckles away. And thanks for stoppin' in while on the road. We appreciate it!!!!

    Good shootin'!

Wolfy, I am a relatively new shooter and am not at the level of competence to give shooting clinics.

I attended a shooting clinic by Leo Harrison III on Sunday and stopped at Owattona to practice while the instruction was fresh where I managed to hit the 100 straight targets.

Obviously I was excited, but the posting was more to call attention to and thank the folks at Owatonna Gun club. They have a nice mix of veteran, new, high school, and family participation at the Wednesday shoots along with a heaping helping of Midwestern Hospitality.

I am hoping to attend their upcoming "Cabelas Shoot" the first weekend in June.

Good Shooting Terry! I will be privileged to chauffeur you to the Mo State Shoot tomorrow. Hope you can give me a few pointers. That first 100 is a great milestone as a confidence builder...makes the next ones easier to handle. Don't change a thing. Best Regards, Ed

Terry, NICE SHOOTING!!!! Were you using one of your brothers "old" guns????

Wear that buckle proud, you earned it.

And, let me add, you did pick a great place to shoot. One of the best clubs, nicest people, around.

Hey Jim... No, not one of the old Single Barrels. It was that new Ljutic he bought at The Grand last August...
