I am looking at purchasing a Beretta 687 over-under trap gun with 30" barrels. Is this gun suitable to occasionally shoot skeet with a change of chokes?

Sure, if it doesn't have an adjustable comb that you could lower, you will probably have to float the targets a bit in your sight picture, but many people are shooting a high patterning gun at skeet. Mark

Sure!! why not! If its for fun go for it and if you get into serious competition then you can make improvements to your rig as you go...Your Beretta is a piece of cake to change wood ..add different barrels etc. ..go out and have a ball!
