over shot wads

    does anyone have any of the old over the shot plastic wad/seal that herters made? i am looking for some 20ga rick

    Rick.. Assuming you are roll crimping.. I use to cut a slice of Ljutic mono-wad as a overshot wad.. They crumbled in the bore and did not disturb the pattern as much as a card or plastic wad did.. If you'd like.. I'll look and see if I have any 20 gaughe left.. if not.. BP still has the felt wads and felt cards..

    A 5/8" hole punch will produce a working OSP (Over shot "paper") from a variety of materials , plastic or paper .

    thanks for reply Dont know if any of you remember the herters or wanda hulls . they were all plastic sort of clear.--blue -red -green but the over shot wad was plastic and it had ribs that caused it to spin off when fired. I have several hundred 12ga but looking for some 20s
