I am a seasoned hunter (bow and gun) and now have an interest in joining some friends in sporting clays. I am using a friend's Kemel O/U to start with. I certainly want to get my own O/U and not have to use his very expensive gun. I need some recommendations for a decent used O/U gun that would be inside my budget of under $1,000. What should I look for?
    Thanks,
    Drumbook in NE Florida

Is there any of the Citori's that can be dual purpose..i.e. birding and sport clay?
    Thanks for the help.

I am looking for a Citori myself and I think the best thing you can do is go try as many models as you can. They all seem to be just slightly different. I have found the one I like the best and it fits me very well but a lot of people I know don't like it at all. Look for what fits you.

I might look at the Browning 425's with invector plus chokes. Should be in the l,000 and up to maybe l,350 or so. Brownings are your best bet. Good Luck and Break-em all. Jeff

try this link, all though not always the best prices. One of the larger selections in this are for used citori's.
