    Guys...

The Olympics are about ready to start and we have sent the best shotgun team ever. Most of the team are ranked in the top five in the world.

    Here is OUR TEAM

    Bret Erickson
    Dominic Grazioli
    Corey Cogdell,
    Vincent Hancock
    Sean McLelland
    Kim Rhode
    Glenn Eller
    Jeff Holguin

Now all you shooters at Sparta, Cardinal and elsewhere wrap up all your MOJO and send it to Beijing to help our team.

Live feed over the internet...women's trap is sunday night.

I hope Corey can pull it out. She's new to the international game, but she's proven herself a gritty competitor many, many times over in ATA shooting and in her limited international experience.

    I'm rooting for her.

I know everyone thinks that it's a failure if you don't "bring home a medal" but in shooting...man, anyone can have a bad day. And the events are over so quick...50 birds for women's trap. heck, I've had shootoffs last that long.

It would be an incredible honor just to get to go, win or lose.

I tried www.issf.tv/ but they have a note on the screen that the IOC does not permit moving images on International Fed. websites. HMB

I am betting that the winner is a grey bearded dead man with a pacemaker.

BEIJING (AP) - David Kostelecky of the Czech Republic won the Olympic gold medal in trap shooting Sunday, hitting all 25 targets in a rainy final round.

Kostelecky finished with a final score of 146. Giovanni Pellielo of Italy won the silver, and Alexey Alipov of Russia took the bronze.

Alipov defeated Michael Diamond of Australia in a shoot-off for the final medal.

Kostelecky and Alipov were tied for first place after qualifying, but the Czech shooter turned in the only perfect final round. Nobody else hit more than 23 targets in the final.

Karsten Bindrich of Germany, the world record holder, finished seventh after losing a three-way shoot-off to advance to the final. Bret Erickson, the top American, finished 22nd.

Bret Erickson and Dominic Grazioli both finished off the pace with scores of 113.
