It is Derby time again at OCSC in Cedar Rapids, IA. Weather geek this am says 53 degrees for Sunday. Might be the last time in 2010 that we see those types of temps here. Come on out to enjoy some clay crushin' and fun w/ your shooting pals. As always the bidding starts at noon. The club opens at 11. The practice trap and kitchen will be open too. The event will start shortly after the bidding is completed. 25 each singles and handicap. Looking forward to seeing you there!!! John in Iowa

Still talking 50 degrees tomorrow. Should be a good day to smash some clays!

Gray skies, 50 degrees and winds 20-25 from the South welcomed the 24 shooters at Otter Creek SC on Sunday. Phil Thyer & Gary "Jake" Jacobson tied for high honors w/ 49s. They shot on the same squad and ea missed on the last post of handicap! Phil prevailed in the shoot-off. He now has 2 wins for the season and the jackpot should be over $1900. We need your help in 2 weeks to keep Phil out of the winners circle!

Thanks to all who attended. We appreciate your patronage. On behalf of the BOD of OCSC we wish everyone a relaxing and safe Thanksgiving Holiday. John in Iowa
