Greetings All! It is that time of the month again. NO, NOT THAT TIME!!! Good grief people, is that all you think about?!?! Now let's get back on task.

Otter Creek SC's 2nd ATA date of the calender year is upon us. This Sunday at the Cedar Rapids, IA club we will be shooting 300 ATA targets (100 ea discipline). The link to the program is above and will also lead you to directions to find OCSC.

Tina will have the kitchen open and rest assured there will ample decks of cards available for multiple games. You have to find your own players though. Practice trap is open at 9:30 and the program starts at 10:00. As usual the club does retain the right to alter the program as deemed necessary.

We look forward to seeing you all there. As always, we appreciate and value your business. John in Iowa

L-T-S - Did you get a new toy to play with? Don't be holding out on us. Spill the beans & share the details.

We are anxious to smack some birds around here in shirt sleeve weather. Tired of sweaters, jackets & such. Weather folk say 70s this weekend. Could bring some moisture along w/ those temps. Regardless, we will be there.

Looking forward to seeing all of you there. John in Iowa

Aaahhhhhhh! The smell of cordite in the air! It must be Spring time in Iowa for trap shooters. Come join the fun at OCSC this Sunday.

Bubba has been working on his new presentation. We are not sure what the subject is yet though. He does seem to be muttering to no one in particular a great deal lately. Could be concern over the massive price increase of toilet paper recently. Hopefully we will find out on Sunday.

Looking forward to seeing you all at Otter Creek this weekend! Drive safe. The coffee pot will be on. John in Iowa

    Reminds me of this thread.

Union Motto: United We Stand, Divided We Fall.

    Guess Who?

Once upon a time (3-4 yrs.)ago, a "WIND BAG" who spouts on this forum. Bypassed the Local UNION Hall and hired Seasoned masons at "Scab wages" to pour and finish his cement job. Wonderful example of Union Solidarity.

Hypocrite? Quote the WIND BAG "It's HAPPING every day." unquote.

We had a great day at Otter Creek on Sunday. The doom & gloom of nasty weather that they had been predicting for days never materialized - Thankfully. We did have to deal with 20-30 mph winds but they came from the south so it could have been much worse.

We had 56 singles shooters and Bob Kisner of Muscatine kicked everyone's tail. Bob looks great and obviously he is back on his game. Good shooting Bob.

Another Muscatine area shooter smacked 96 handicap targets to take hi gun there. Bill Nesmith took the punch that came with the fine score (44 hcp shooters). Great work Bill.

Dan Meyne of Greene blasted 96 very challenging targets to take the doubles title for the day. Congratulations Dan and fine shooting.

Thanks to all who attended. We had a great time visiting with you and hope that you enjoyed yourselves. We do appreciate your patronage. John in Iowa
