    Can someone identify this item for me? I found it at an estate sale of a WW2 Air Force veteran. On the side is embossing that says "CC/C 5/43". Thanks.

    Here's an exploded view. The middle piece has what looks like a needle valve and a metal ball inside.

    Ultimate breakdown of parts. The 'canister' does not open up any more than displayed. Observe also the hole at the end. I'm going to next post a photo of the other end and my Super WA Guess as to what this is.
