OT Squirrl stuck in chimney,Help OT

    I need all the help for this one; Have squirrl in the LR chiminy, wife doesn't want it injured.

    I was going to dispatch it W 22lr shot cartirge ??

    Drop a rope down the chimney. He should be able to climb out (they have no trouble climbing my 1/2" smooth steel pole for my bird feeder!).

    I had one get in between my chimney and the ourside housing and it cost me $2,000 to get him out - dead of course! the beav

    Jim is right get a rope, and a boom box and play loud music in the chimney. Thats how we get raccoons out. Wayne

    Dispight all the info I would add one thing. Put a sceen on the chimmney after the extraction and ejection. Post-2

    Once you get it out put a screened chimney cap on to keep critters out.

    Set a 20lb. LP gas bottle inside the fire box and open it just alittle . Give it about 5 minutes and a match will send him out .

    Support your local chimney sweep.( have it cleaned and inspected at the same time, then have a rain-animal guard installed].

    Do NOT do the LP trick, LP is heavier than air and will just sit there and when you light it WHOOOF right in your face
