Can you put a scope on a Ruger Blackhawk .357 with a 6.5 barrel?
With out tapping the top strap? for screws and a scope base.
    thanks

Above is a link to a B-Square scope mount, the front of the mount fits over the barrel and the rear mount attaches to the rear sight mounting holes. You have to remove the rear sight, but you don't have to drill any new holes.

I have had one on my 45LC Blackhawk for years. Leupold 2xLER, STD mount. The top strap had to be drilled for the front of the mount. The rear screw goes in the old sight mounting hole.

For that handgun, I'd SERIOUSLY consider a red dot rather than a scope.
