I inherited two Craftsman 9.6V cordless drills which had not been used for about seven years. The rechargeable batteries were totally dead and have been recycled. As for the drills themselves, is it possible to hard-wire them to a 9.6V power supply so that they would be, in essence, corded drills? Thanks for any advice.

yes, you just need to make sure your power supply will handle the amperage. the drills will draw quite a bit so you will need a hefty power supply.
