Meh. Yet another anti-gunner. I hope Ron Paul runs as a libertarian or independent.

    edited addition...

Nader's entry changes the entire political balance. Wait for the NYTimes et. al. to re-define them as follows:

McCain as a frothing at the mouth right winger.
Clinton as a right leaning moderate.
    Obama as a centrist.
Nader as slightly left of center.

I was wondering when Nader would step in. Thank GOd he has, now ther ecan be a bigger struggle in the liberals organization. I hope that Nader stays till the end. That way he doesn't throw his weight to one of the other candidates.

At one time Michael Moore worked for Nader. So, Michael may be his running buddy

    Oh my gosh !

    Bocephas:

Two political events of a presidential nature occurred Sunday.

    1. Cuba's parliment named Raul Castro the official replacement for his brother Fidel.

    2. As soon as the Cuba gig was filled, perpetual loser Ralph Nader, announced his third run for president.

    Coincidence? I don't think so!

lctrapshooter: I know it seems like more but this is only Nader's third try.

    lctrapshooter:

    I stand corrected.

My original source was an Associated Press story that referred to this as Nader's "third run". A different AP story (by line, Hope Yen, dated 02-24-08) listed Nader presidential runs in 2000, 2004, and 2008. Apparently, the Associated Press doesn't count anything before 2000.

Just for kicks I googled 'Ralph Nader biography'. Some sites list his runs in '92, '96, '00, '04, and '08. Others don't. The first three sites I checked provided conflicting info.

I have never seen such a poor choice of either party.

Just shows what money can do.
