My wife and kids bought me an iPod for father's day.

It lookes like I have to pay to fill the iPod up with music unless I download songs from CD's.

I am looking for a "free" site to get music without having to pay 30 bucks to join ot 99 cents a song.

Anyone out there know where I cna get free music for this thing?

    Thanks

downloading music off this program is copyright infringement just so you know so if you want it legally your gonna have to pay for it but if you don't care this is the program to get its got anything and everything you can think of.

Go to Best buy and get itools for itunes 20 bucks. install rogram on your computer, borrow your friends ipod and connect to your computer. Itools will scan the other ipod and figure out how many songs are on your buddies ipod that you don't have already, then it will copy them into your itunes folder. then up[date your ipod and you are inbusiness.

I bet I spent 40 hours loading my CDs onto my ipod. Now I can get 2000 songs from a friend in 30 minutes.

Agreed, Winamp is the best player. I use CDex for ripping, it looks up titles and info for ID3 tags.

Never used Limewire, but Winmx, Audiognome, DC++, and Grabit work just fine.

All the file sharing info you want is at www.slyck.com.

I have used Limwire a lot and its free.

I also went ahead and paid for it something like 18.00 for the pro version but just type in the search and most of the time you will find what you want.

    Thanks guys,

I downloaded the Free version of Limewire and filled the iPod up.

Thanks for saving me some money, now I can shoot Thurwday night.

PS anyone mold a pair of earphones into the Insta Mold ear plugs and listen while shooting?

Just a thought. It may be annoying but I thought I would ask.

    Thanks again.

I use limewire all the time, its great. Just make sure you listen to the music before you put it on a cd or something. Sometimes you will get a song that someone just recorded off the radio and the qaulity will be terrible.
