I don't mind telling you, this was a "nail biter".

    Wow!

My hat is off to the MSU team. They gave it all they had and nearly pulled it off.

But, my Hawkeyes reached down and found a little something at the end to pull it off.

This video is just of the last play.

    Iowa Pulls It Out!

Congratulations Hauxfan--Iowa did a great job pulling that one out. That was a really exciting finish. Winners always find a way to fight through to victory. My beloved (and un-ranked)Clemson Tigers gave #8 Miami a similar disappointment in a40-37 overtime win. Clemson is now 4-3, having lost 3 of this seasons games by a total of 10 points. Maybe they've found out how to win against a tough opponent at last. Best of luck to you and your team for the remainder of the season.

Turtle, Your team this year sounds like ours last year. We had lost to about 3-4 teams by a total of 11-12 points or so.

The team this year just keeps fighting and finding a way to win.

Big Don, you weren't the only one thinking that way.

I really wasn't sure we could pull this one out, but we found a way.

MIA, are you saying you lost some sleep last night over my Hawkeyes? lol

Congrats on a excellent finish last night. That was one of the best games that I have seen in a long while. Two goal line stands, very few mistakes, two last minute touchdown drives, and damn tough defense. The game was decided in the last two minutes of the fourth quarter.I'm sure that there are some real sore young men today on both teams. As a long time Spartan fan, I am disappointed with the loss but do want to extend to Iowa their just due and hopes that they remain undefeated & win the Big 10 title. During the game last night the announcers often mentioned the quality & integrity of both coaches & programs, I agree.

    P.S. I miss Norm Parker

Skrap, I can see why you miss Norm. He is an icon and really knows how to motivate his young players. What a guy.

Everything you said about the teams was spot on. They really laid it all out on the line last night.

Well fought on both sides of the field.

I think both coaches are good for the sport.

Darn, Barrelbulge, you're letting my secret out of the bag.......lol

Been one for at least 61 years that I can tell.

I'm not much on pro teams, but I do like my Hawkeyes.

    Iowa man!!
Me too Haux. I went to Kinnick (not called that then though) for my first game in the fall of 1954. My uncle was team doctor and he gave my folks season tickets every year. I started going every game in 2002 season when I retired. I love it too! Like the guy said. "Enjoy the ride as long as it lasts".
