My shooting partner was more than a friend. He was the brother I never had, and always showed concern over any difficulty I may have encountered. More than once he showed up with help even without being asked. There is never a day that goes by without him being in my thoughts.

I know your loss, and sympathise completely.

Earl Muffie was a good friend, a great competitor, and fun to be with whatever the occassion. Gentlemen such as him will be missed. A group gathered at our club and raised a salute to Earl wishing him peace.

Lost my friend and hunting partner last Tuesday. Was a great friend. Went on many big game hunts to the arctic and Yukon Territories. He was the treasurer and Trap manager at Minnetonka Sportsmans club in Mound, Minnesota. Cancer took him at the age of 66.

I miss him dearly, and can relate to your loss. I will pray for you. Hang in there and remember the hundreds of good memories you've had.

    Fred:

I extend my condolences as well. Thanks for you and your buddy's service to our country. I have great respect for the Marines. My younger brother was a Marine and I lost him earlier this summer. My prayers are with you.

Be thankful for the time you had together. Finding anyone that loves to hunt and shoot and will stick with it for years is very, very hard. Most people today are in and out of hobbies so fast they never stay in any of them long enough to get good at them or develop life long friendships.

I lost my hunting partner and good friend 10-6-2007. He died at the young age of 36 in his sleep. The day before he passed, we were run hunting deer with the bows here in South Jersey, and we were due to go back out the day he passed. I feel your pain for sure as I have yet to get back into the woods. God Bless, Jason.
