Now I am mad, I was on question 45 and I hit back because I realized the last answer I put in was wrong and it brought me back here and I push forward and I had to start over.

92% for me. I've seen a few of these tests before. Quite a few companies are using them to screen job applicants.

<I>"Are any of you having this problem?"</I>

Not at all! Everything I needed to know to answer those questions I got a l-o-o-n-g time ago in high school physics class.

In the state of MI, you need and repair facility license, a state of MI mechanics license or be an ASE licensed technician. If you have your ASE certs you automatically have a state certification, as I remember it.

Yes, you missed it. On the page that reports your score there is a link to review the test and to see the correct answers compared to your replies.

If the driving fan is turning clockwise facing it from behind, the driven fan will be turning counter-clockwise facing it from behind. I think it is a trick question since they turn the same direction as if they were connected.

Well, it said I got an 80%, and that I passed.

But during the test, it only told me I got TWO wrong...that seems to me like a 96, not an 80.

Either way, not bad for a CPA. LOL.

    Jimmy Borum,

    No, they're right.

In 45, the three balloons have the same amount of gas. The only way they can be different sizes is if different pressure is acting on them from the outside. The more pressure acting on the outside, the smaller the balloon gets. A real visual example of this is to take a full balloon to the bottom of a swimming pool. It'll get smaller.

In 48, atmospheric pressure is pushing the air into the cylinder, which is at a lower pressure. Fluids (gases, liquids) always move from a high pressure to a low pressure (unless pumped or compressed.) The pressure in the cylinder is lower than atmospheric because the volume is expanding due to the piston moving down.
