OT-Excell spreadsheet problim

    I am running a league. We shoot 9 shoots and only count the 7 best. I can get it to total all 9 scores. But i need the formula to count only the 7 best.

    You should be able to sort the column in descending order and delete the bottom 2.

    or the same if you have it in rows. Ot sure about that.

    This should work.


    Sort high to low for each shooter. Than, select the top seven cells and total them in another cell of your choice.


    There may be a better way to accomplish what you want Perhaps an Excel spread sheet expert may jump in and offer a better way.

    Use the "if " function such as =if(A1>0,"yes,"No) Result is if A is greater than 0, excel will produce a result of yes otherwise No
