What is the most humane way to rid your property of these nasty critters?
I have two ponds and we are infested with them pooping all over the sidewalks and killing flowers.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance

I had a friend with a house on a man made lake, geese all over.

He had a garage door open in the back also so he could put in a boat.

Used to sit with a Wrist Rocket and 1/4 inch ball bearings.

Pretty soon they started avoiding his place.

I live on a lake and shoot them in the legs with my daisy mod 25 pump bb gun, works great and fun too.

Ditto South East PA. I can put together a crew with plenty of experience.

Use a dog to run 'em off.

Good exercise for the dog and after a bit, the birds won't return.

Hunting for resident geese is about as much fun and challenging as shooting skeet.

Resident geese may not be as challenging, but it is still fun.

Go to your local garden center and get one of the motion detector sprinklers. Set it up where they enter the property. It works great for the neighbors cats and should work for the geese too.

I understand a high powered air rifle will kill 'em at 75 yards. Quiet and deadly. Don't ask me how I know!!

High end BB/Pellet gun. Shoot them now, before they are given amnesty and we have to provide them free health care.
