Opinions on KX5

    I know this is a loaded question but I am thinking about getting a KX5 are they good dependable trap guns?

    Dependable yes. I think their stock dimensions cause problems. I think the pistol grip sweeps back too much and is the cause of their reported excess recoil for some people. The design makes it hard to get a good grip. Look at the grip of a Seitz, Alf, or Mach One, and compare. I loved mine, but I started to flinch. Sold it, and flinch was gone.

    Outstanding gun. Shot some outstanding scores. Never had recoil problem. Traded it on a K80 combo. Probably should have kept it. Like any gun, shoot it if you can. What works for one doesn't work for all.
