Felt recoil becomes almost non existent with regular trap loads. Heavy 1 1/4oz loads feel like regular trap loads. The design allows the stock to pass under the cheek piece, thus allowing your cheek to stay stationary. Because of this it has a terrific advantage over Gracoil systems and other similar models. If you decide to go ahead you will find Mike to be a true gentleman and an excellent craftsman. Had him do my Citori XT after firing a hundred rounds for comparison, absolutely no regrets.
