I was wondering what wads are being used for .410 & 28 Ga on Spolar reloaders. I know Spolar recommends Remingtons for .410 & Federals for 28 Gauge but they are double the price of some other brands. Is anyone uing any other manufacturers with good success.

    Thanks in advance

Gee, all these years I thought you bought wads to suit the case you were loading.

    Silly me.

I was told the the pedals are not stiff enough on other brands other than the ones I mentioned, just wondering if that is the case?

I use pattern control for 410 and clay busters for 28ga.I put my finger in center of wad to speak the petals as I load it.
