Hello: Another successful Ontario Provincial has come and gone. Weather was great, had one short delay due to lighting and rain for 1.5 hrs on Sunday during the singles champoionships.

I wanted to try and post results and photos each day, but, things got busy and we all had some late nights.

I am still waiting on the officail results for all events and will update the OPTA website ASAP.

What I can report is that in the Handicap championships, we recored two 99's, four 98's and five 97's. Excellent targets thrown and presentations as you can see with the results.

A young sub-junior recorded one the the 99's and a another Ontario shooter recorded the other 99.

The Ontario Handicap championships came down to the shoot-off, it went two rounds and the winner was Ontario Sub-Junior Matthew Van Haaren.

Congrats to Matthew and family. Full scores for all events are posted on this site under trapshooters.com event scores

    Couple of photos attached.

What terrific photos...it is so nice to see our friends who shoot in Florida with us!!!

I have to get a passport so that we can come to Hamilton again.

By the way, wasn't Paul Shaws article in Trap and Field wonderful?

    We really enjoyed it.

Sorry we couldn't make the shoot this year.

Our friends to the north are some of the nicest people we know. We certainly have fond memories of your shoots.

Glad to hear the shoot was such as success.
