Just goes to show that a polished turd is still a turd.

The WORST president in history and Romney couldn't even knock him off.

What a brilliant plan, running a gun banning RINO.

I wonder if Republicans have learned anything for 2016?

I doubt it. Betcha dollars to donuts another gun banning RINO will get nominated.

By the time Obama gets through with this term he will have well over 50% of the people dependent on some type of government wellfare. There will be no place for republicans in that world.

It probably won't matter, with the Dems still controlling the Senate we are screwed with SCOTUS and U.N. treaties... This was an incredible loss for gun owners.

It doesn't matter who the republicans rolled out. The scum in this country likes free stuff, and they now outnumber us. I think this election forshadows the end of the republican party. I hope I'm wrong, but it sure seems that way.

With over 50 percent on government support there will never again be a Republican President. Very sad. The Democrats played to win. They do not care about our country. They just want to win.

I'll bet that whoever runs in 2016 won't meet Brian's standards. At least he's happy with the election results.

Well no, we all have been told over and over, we can't do it without the support of the superior intellect of the Independents, and we didn't.

As a Republican who participates in the primaries, I was less than enthralled with Romney, but by the time Colorado held it's caucus, Romney was all that was left choose from, my choices already left the race.

Sorry, but the defeat of Romney does rest just with Romney or registered Republicans.

As we are so constantly reminded every election cycle, we make up about a third of the voters and not every body thinks like or believes in what we believe.

I did my best, I am not whining, I am not going to take the blame for this mess.

The nightmare continues, because we are a country without vision or purpose. We are done.

Rick, your comments are well-stated. It may be that we are a country - now - with a vision or purpose: that being a growing European-type socialistic, entitlement mentality among the electorate. As more people become dependent on government programs, this vision and purpose will continue to grow. Best Regards, Ed

Congratulations Brian your hated Romney lost and your buddy Obama won!!! Thanks.

Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s trenchant observation: ‘The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money to spend.’”

Americans, yes being an American is to follow an ideology of Freedom. Today, Americans have become the Greater Minority and no longer comprise the Silent Majority in their own Country. And this too will pass....

Looks like we have already passed the point of more than 50% of America dependant on some form of governmental support.

    How lame are we?

Is your real name Richard Crainum? but assuming you can follow links as easily as you can milk the goat, go....follow the links and you will find just recently that law abiding US citizens had their guns illegally confiscated.
There should have been heads roll for that, but alas, we have lost our stomach for the blade!

This country is no longer RED WHITE and BLUE its Brown. I support our troops 100% and love this country. Sometimes the truth hurts but it is still the truth.

    From "The Tea Party Tribune:"

11-6-12: Barack Obama has won re-election.
He has been given permission to continue pushing America down the path of destruction. God Help US ALL!

Pretty dissappointed in the results. Here in CA NOTHING and NO ONE I voted for won.

I now have new taxes to pay the Teachers unions benefits. I have a new parcel tax to fund schools that I don't use, and even my representaive lost to a liberal democrat woman I had never heard of from LA county.

AS far as the election results? how is it that Obama wins EVERY battle ground state? and Romney wins NONE! Especially when EVERY poll predicted different outcomes. Should he have won at least one of them.

There was a blurb going around a few months ago saying that Geo Soros owned the company that was in charge of counting votes in many states.

If this is true then it is pretty obvious why the election went the way it went.

Validation of the election results came this morning when the stock market plumetted, as everyone sold off stocks. It's only 9:30AM here in CA and the market has lost 3% in 3 hours.

The big factor here though is the Republican Party. There definately needs to be an overhaul. This is the second election we have lost with weak candidates who are unwilling to fight and push home the knife. Romney let Obama off the hook on Benghazi in the third debate, and he lost yesterday as a result.

Peopel want to see a fighter.

Also the News media in this country needs a bit of an overhaul. The Billionaires that funded Romney need to buy at least one of them and remove some of the libs on the nightly news.

I vote for NBC news being bought away from GE and would love to see Brian Williams kicked to the curb.

John Galt, quote: <i>"I'll bet that whoever runs in 2016 won't meet Brian's standards. At least he's happy with the election results."</i>

shooterIII, quote: <i>"Congratulations Brian your hated Romney lost and your buddy Obama won!!! Thanks."</i>

thunder, quote: <i>"Brain in Oregon you got what you wanted. How many times did you say on this site you wouldn't vote for Romney. You won and because of gun owners like you our country has lost. Thank You"</i>

For those of you who have the capability of critical thinking, the above quotes are prima facia evidence why 2016 will be a repeat of 2008 and 2012.

Instead of learning the lesson that you do not nominate a candidate who has almost nothing in common with his base, they simply attack those who are sick and tired of being crapped on by their supposed friends. I had absolutely no desire to see Lord Obama win, but frankly I am not saddened to see Romney lose. Both are liberal gun banners who champion social programs. To say one is worse than the other is like comparing Hitler and Stalin.

Gun owners lost the moment their fellow Republicans nitpicked the non-gun banners away, leaving or voting for a gun banner. Those who chose not to support a gun banner from either party are being blamed by those who are too politically incompetent to understand that you do not backstab your supporters.

I predict 2016 is going to be another GOP debacle, based on the incompetent and childish blame games like these quotes. When lessons do not get learned, the same mistakes are repeated.

Stick a fork in the GOP. It's done.
