Have Bowen double release on mx trigger. The only way I have
able to replace a hammer spring, is to remove the hooks, witch
involves removing the inertia block. Is there a better way?

Fred, on the side you want to change tap the hook pin out just far enough to free the hook and pull the tree back (spring loaded) slide the hook out. Make sure the small spring under the hook isn't lost. Change your hammer spring and reverse procedure. That's the way I do mine. Larry.

I use that same procedure as Larry. The right side was easy, but I had trouble with the left until I figured out that the little pin under the hook was an allen screw. I backed it out until it was flush and the left hook slides out just as easy once you slide the hook pin back in the other direction.
