Have been given some powders and would like any feedback I can get. The first one is Green dot by Hercules? and the other one is Winchester superlite WSL1. Any good recipes for these or what powders do they cross reference to measure charges? or should I just dispose of them?

Lot of good recipes. You need to let us know exactly what other component you have and what shot weight and velocity you want. I do have a Hercules powder guide. Not sure if I have the right time frame for the Win Superlite.

Green Dot is Green Dot. That said they may have tweaked the recipe to make it cleaner burning, now there are no longer 7/8 oz loads in 20 ga Rem STS and Win AA hulls.

Alliant Powders took over Hercules. Plenty of Green Dot recipes on their web-site. I have used 40 year old Green Dot with no problems. When smokeless powders go bad they smell rancid. Hodgdon Powder took over Winchester powders, and reloading data for WSL-1 is very similar to the newer WST. Call Hodgdon to be sure.

Care to sell the WSL. How many pounds do you have? Bulge.

Only got a pound of each. I reload Remington STS, Nitro, Gun Clubs, Win AA's.
Wads that I use are Fig 8's for 1-1/8, and TGT's for 1 oz. with Fio 616 primers. All of my current recipes are with claydot powder so I was just curious about these two.

Be careful with the WSL ( Winchester Super lite ) some people confuse this with WAA lite and they are not the same ..

    I use a Mec #21 bushing ( and powder baffel ) for WSL , AA12 wad , W209 primer and AA compression hull ( 1-1/8 ounce load )..

I am thinking that STS hulls would be the same..

I have about 6lb. of the WSL left but I am always looking for N.O.S. Bulge.
