Old Trapshooting Ad

    This is an ad from an old Outing Magazine from early 1909. I have acquired a bunch of old (late 1800's, early 1900's) sporting magazines and can post a few pics from time to time if people are interested.

    A 96.77 percent average was the best ever. By 1908 trapshooting was a clay pigeon sport with live bird/glass ball shooting not counted in their official average.

    Devi, I agree, I just hope he posts pictures here first though. Not everyone gets to take a trip to the HOF to see all the interesting stuff there. Hap

    Yes, post them here first. I haven't been to the HOF yet, either. Dayton is not really a place that I ever visit.

    Thanks for the feedback. Things are pretty busy right now but as I find the time I will post more. Who knew that "Badmitton Magazine" would have a regular column on trapshooting...
