I am proud of you people who have shown so much concern over Kim's loss. I have no doubt that the scumbag that stole her gun could get $20 grand from this group by posting a notice. That's not the point. What matters is that you CARE about a fellow shooter and "sweethart" that has been robbed of some of her most precious memories. It's not about the gun it's about the person. I just wish the non-gun people who protary us as hicks with a killer instinct and lack of decency could see how you have responded to her loss. I do so hope she gets the gun back but I also hope she has seen the outporing of concern and support you have voiced. We may be a bunch of old, fat men that are hard of hearing but we are compashionate and we take care of our own. Bless Kim and Bless you!

I hope that gunrunner speaks metaphorically. There is no reason to take a human life over this..come on, over metal and wood? "I've met the enemy and it is us..."; I do hope the thieves are severely punished with time/community service/face felony charges etc.

P.S. Kim has been an acquaintance since she was a little kid at the range shooting a 20 gauge Pachmayr special Perrazi. I think this awful invasion and theft produced the loss of a historic and important gun. I also suspect that Kim is so focused, talented, and professional, that she and Lucio very quickly had a new gun "dialed in" exactly to her liking...a liking known from years of experience. One guesses the emotional trauma is the worst part; I would guess that Kim knew exactly what she needed for the tool of her trade: to the gram and 1/1000 of an inch.

BTW, last time I saw Kim was last February or so; she served me a nice hamburger at Oaktree..she was taking a break from practice and had to do something with her energy, so she went into the kitchen to help!

Would it surprise anyone if the bbls were already sawed off and the gun 'fenced' to some gang-banger?

It's hard to find a silver lining, but it has brought more positive news coverage to shotgun shooting than I've ever seen before.

Well that post sucked. It was the spreadsheet showing Kim Coming in second place this week at the fall selection match. She was only 1 bird down. Great shooting. Check out he USA Shooting site for scores.

So she finished 2nd w/a 'strange' gun, proving once again: "It's not the arrow, it's the indian."
