$2.89 here in Boise yesterday. I remember the early 50's. My father owned a gas station and the gas war was on. Gas was 12.9 cents per gallon

$2.43 at Havana Illinois and diesel was $3.39. I've heard of cheaper prices and am glad the price is going down to where it should be. We need more money for other goods and services at this time of the year. Christmas is coming up and all those grandbabies need new toys and clothes. Dan

Maybe Obama will send them a new pair of shoes, too...right before he invites the Sierra Club to the White House and cuts off ALL domestic drilling.

See what happens to the price of gas then, numnuts.

$2.39 yesterday in Coffeyville, KS and we have a refinery that produces gasoline IN TOWN. So much for distribution cost...KS is a ripoff all the way around...IMO.

I want to move back to MO>>

Buzz, so true about the radical, liberal group Sierra Club. I have enlightened many members of our kayak and bike clubs about their constant mission of pushing/supporting legislation to block more and more acres from public access. Frikkin eco-nazis. I consider them radical like the earthfirst nuts..only they dress better and drive BMW's, Land Rovers, and do not even know how to build a damn campfire....clueless members who need their hands held in the woods. Sorry, just another political arm of the Dems. As we say out here in socialist California with our bumper stickers "Sierra Club-hike to hell", or "Earth First..then we'll log the moon", another favorite oldie is "Spotted Owl..try wiping your butt with one".
